After another long hiatus from uploading videos here is another one of, hopefully, more to come. Back story: A friend was able to purchase a crawler and dragged me out to crawl with him. It was a blast and I was glad to be out there on the hills again.

Part of my durability testing of the Slash 2wd. This thing definitely takes a beating. I have not broken any parts as of yet. Although, I am not actively trying to break it it is one tough rig. 3 years went by quick. This pond has given me so much relaxation and comfort. It is ever changing and new challenges present themselves as the pond, the plants, and the koi matures. Learning how to fly / Traxxas Slash 2wd in a skatepark

This is the first time taking my Slash to a skatepark. Kinda nervous, expected parts to get damaged. The only thing that happened was my rear shock popped towards the end of the session but no breakage. I am very impressed by the toughness of this rig. Coming from a crawlers point of view, this type of activity would seriously damage a scale crawling rig.
Wine Barrel Pond

Long overdue update… Changed the barrel and added a liner. The previous barrel was rotting and water was leaking. Lost 1 fish from that happening. Not a lot of plants anymore since my goldfish had grown and would constantly nibble on them, especially the softer bodied plants. The fish in here started out as $0.35 feeder fish. I have had them for about 5 years now.

Overcrowded
Waaaaay too overcrowded. Been trying to give away the fish to a petshop but my wife is so attached to them she can’t let go. This was originally an experiment with these feeder goldfish that ended up like this.
i love mine, but if i had to make one big complaint it'd be the screws on the tail lights. overall great truck great fun! beautiful truck by the way!
Why is the water red? Did you not clean the barrel before you put the water and fish in?😮😂
I wanted to get them drunk and be happy 😆 Just kidding! I cleaned this barrel and soaked it for a year with plenty of water changes with no fish in it. Then I added plants and tested the water. When conditions were right I added feeder goldfish at that time they were over a centimeter long. To answer your question, my guess would be from the type of wood? I dunno really.
Hey bro thank you I had mounted axels on the bottom of the leaf springs they came like that from a buddy that traded it to me and it flexes but no wear neer yours and it has no suspension other than the leaf springs no shocks on it and there like a Bow shape leaf spring it has the same front brackets as yours but sits high like crazy high
Been working on mine since yesterday lowering. Had a ton of other parts to use and they came in handy. Mines lower than that but I want it as a stock looking scaler. I won’t be crawling rocks with it. Interior on the way too. It’ll pull the trailer and stuff. It’s kind of involved lowering them. I used shorter shocks and bumper drop brackets also. Looking good man.
I kinda like these trucks a little lower as well. IMO it looks better. Seemed to get through things ok still. This way? Takes a little better driving skills. Nice run. ;)

This is a Traxxas TRX4 with a Pro-line racing Toyota body. You can buy the TRX4 at the Traxxas website or your local hobby shop. The Toyota body can also be bought at your local hobby shop or visit proline racing website to order.

Thanks Nick! The conditions allowed the barrel to deteriorate but I kind of knew that in the beginning. I was good while it lasted.

How do you stop foxes and birds from getting at the fish please :)
To be honest, I have not done any preventive measures for birds and other predators. Maybe because I live in an area where wildlife is not so rampant. A net might help.

Just a regular pump found at home depot or lowes. It is probably around 150 gallons per hour.

Do you have to change some of the water regularly to keep the fish healthy, what do you feed the fish
I just top off mostly. Maybe once a year I do a water change. I just feed them regular fish food from pet shops. Mostly floating pellets.

This was about an hour drive from our place. It was nice to get a little bit of footage up there. Wish I could have filmed more but I had to make sure to watch my kids 😄 and yes that guy is part of the recovery crew just in case the tiny truck gets stuck. Thanks for stopping by my friend!

I have the same body on my trx4, similar colour too, but with a sliver bottom, im in the UK, cant buy the grill and lights here, all listed in the USA, shipping prices are insane.

Yes. That is the exact one but cut to fit.
